My educational background has taken me on a 30-year journey. It all started when I enrolled in a Commercial Arts program in Madison, Wi. From there I got married, which eventually brought me to Portland. Since moving to Portland, I have continued my education at The University of Portland minoring in Interdisciplinary Studies:  Fine Arts, Communications, and Psychology, while working in the Graphics arts department.  At The Art Institute of Portland I completed the Interior Design program. My extensive love of the arts and design lead me to Furniture for over 17 years.

 

I love to gather my inspiration from all forms of art; music, films, books, media and fashion, combined with the latest color trends.  Being a Designer at Parker Furniture allows me to put all my creative talents together. Whether it is combining furniture, rugs, lighting, or the accessories and window treatments, together we can create your perfect room.
